I know it seems very disgusting, but rest assured your puppy is not the only one who does this. There are quite a few on YT who have mentioned their dogs doing this. Here is one vet's explanation to why dogs eat poop:

Also there is something called deter...I think it is pills you give your dog/dogs and it will make their poop taste not so good (if that makes any sense) LOL.
