I thought I had explained it in the original post.

Bottom line is that yorkies are becoming one of the worst breeds in terms of having medical issues and people simply are not prepared to deal with the financial repercussions. One bout of pancreatitis can be extremely expensive...if treated properly. If not, they often die. It is a very common issue with yorkies.
