Never give a chew when you are gone because they can choke. I better alternative for when you gone should be like a kong stuffed with peanut butter and frozen. Pig ears have way to much fat and bully sticks can cause teeth to break. My yorkies choked bad on trachea so I don't give that. I like the honest kitchen beams and the edible nylabones with limited ingredients. Some times I just give them a large dog milk bone and it keeps them busy for awhile.
