Oh my, I'm so terribly sorry for your pain in what should be one of the most beautiful and hopeful situations. I can only count my blessings in my case for my yorkie girl, that I got her despite that another was wanting her before me (she was the only girl in the litter and the other person was willing to get a boy after the breeder"s" worked it out with her, for me). And interestingly enough, she was born on my birthday
I'm sure the right one will come to you at the right time. I hope you two will find that "one" soon.
