Some folks use bitter apple sprays, or some feed pineapples to make the poop seem less tasty. Thankfully in my case, I never dealt with that, though I have dealt with soiled/chewed toilet paper- play when trying to clean the mess up ;-;
They say it's a deficiency or that the poop still smelled strong of food (aka poop was produced fairly soon after the pup eats). Aside from sprays etc., only thing I can think of is try to take the pup out more frequently to use the bathroom, which can be 3-4 times a day. Or distract the pup from the poop :P There's actually lots of info on this subject and I'm sure there are others that can give you more insight.
