oh gawd, just from reading from posts here that he was kind of "failing" in saying his girlfriend did it, just tells me he is having second thoughts on the premises that his girlfriend and him have a daughter together (if not a strong bond between them). After reading the post that mentions they have proof of her confession to the crime, this confirms it.
That guy needs to get it that, that kind of "person" needs either some serious mental help or needs to be incarcerated. On one hand, I can understand his hesitation since it seems she's still considered a "loved" one or at least someone that's considered an important part of his life, but at the same time this is a sick crime. There is no excuse nor justification for what that woman did (I agree with other posts that destruction of property is a better vengeance/justification than taking an innocent life), and here is where personal feelings must be put aside and justice must be dealt. And I don't pity him for his situation, because he's pretty much saying by his word and action that he's willing to allow/defend such a person not only into his life but into his child's life and he's bringing that all on himself! It's tough when it's someone you love or have a strong bond with (in one form or another), but you have to put aside that feeling when that other person done something so terribly wrong.
