Welcome to YT and thank you for rescuing this little girl. If she was crated most of her life and had little contact with humans, it will take time for her to adjust to freedom of create and human contact. Patience is the key word with rescues, she has to get use to her new life, new smells, new schedule but mostly PEOPLE, touching, cuddling by humans, all new to her. Let her come to you on her terms, if she does not want to be held don't force her. Talk to her in soft tones, offer treats, or boil her boneless chicken cutlets as treats, all dogs LOVE this. She has to build trust in you and all humans, car rides, nice walks, all build trust and bond. She WILL come around but it will take time. I have a rescue boy after having 4 females all gotten as 8 week old babies. Rescuing is so rewarding. Please keep us up dated on her progress in her new life with you.
