I brought my Blazer home on a Monday. My husband didn't meet him until that Weds night, and only briefly. Husband wasn't around Blazer again for a week and a half and didn't pay attention to him for over a month. I feed Blazer and Buddy (our German Shorthair) and take them for walks. I bathe them and groom them and play with them. Guess who they love the most? MY HUSBAND!!!!!! Some times they'll choose me over him, but they know that he is the Alpha and they love being with him. With dogs, you just can't plan whom they will bond with the most.
