It is possible that diet can make OA worse, and especially if you have changed over to more carbs that the good veggies etc. But you also have to get more calories in to beef you up after the surgery........so what to do???
I guess you have tried all the joint supplements?
Another thing could be the time of relative inactivity after the surgery, then the poor muscles and joints get out of shape. Praying you and your buddy feel better soon.
Hope the injection next weeks does some good too.

Seems to be a spate of ill health but hopefully will be back on track soon. Just had tuna fish salad, sliced tomatoes, grape juice and HD gelato sea salt caramel ice cream for dessert! That stuff is gooooood! 270 cals per half cup or something like that - so rich!
