Poor Jeanie, so sorry all your bones and joints ache so much. Even worse when you can't take painkillers etc to ease things. How you do all you do I don't know, must really hurt.
It is possible that diet can make OA worse, and especially if you have changed over to more carbs that the good veggies etc. But you also have to get more calories in to beef you up after the surgery........so what to do???
I guess you have tried all the joint supplements?
Another thing could be the time of relative inactivity after the surgery, then the poor muscles and joints get out of shape. Praying you and your buddy feel better soon.
Hope the injection next weeks does some good too.
