Good grief, I never even thought of that! Do the pup's breed club registration papers claim it is a purebred Yorkie? Even if she's not got papers, I would tell her my concerns if she might be planning on one day breeding her dog to a purebred Yorkie, thinking she'll wind up with purebred Yorkie puppies, registered or not. Even if she doesn't plan on selling the puppies, just wants to keep them or plans on giving one/some/all of the puppies away, she should know she could be breeding a mixed-breed dog.
