Bless his little heart....he is just as much distressed as his owner was at giving him up....just be patient, allow HIM to make the first moves......I was going to ask if you are giving him distilled water....the water he was drinking at his other home is from a different source, other part of town, etc than what he is getting now...could cause upset tummy/diarrhea....I always send my pups home with instructions to use filtered/distilled water for a few days, until you can gradually get him switched over to "your" water.....just be very patient and loving and understanding with him, move at HIS pace, and all will be great!
