outside play I like the idea of the cable run, I used a really long rope for my dog, and as she would near the end of the 30 foot, I would yell out "Jaz, come!" and lightly pull her back, and give her a little piece of chicken. I did this for several days, and at the end of a week, she would come immediately when I said "Jazz Come". No more rope was needed, she runs and plays, she loves to chase lizards, but she always comes back when I call her. I still give her the occasional treat when she runs back to me, but now a scratch and a kiss have the same affect.
