What are you feeding them? If they won't eat dog food then I would start making their food. Try some white rice, boiled chicken, oatmeal, plain yogurt. There are a lot of things for a dog to eat but I would start with these things. I would do whatever it takes to get my dog to eat.
I have a 9 year old Yorkie that eats well, unless we go on vacation. If I leave him home even during the day with my family and I am gone he will not eat until I return home. I could not leave him and go somewhere because I fear he would not eat. I take him everywhere I go. When we are staying away from home he will not touch his dog food (that he eats great at home). I make sure I have oatmeal, yogurt, chicken, etc to feed him while we are on vacation. When we return home he goes right back to his dog food. I would rather get him to eat than to have him go days to a week without eating.
I would probably seek out another vet in the future and if you still can't get the dog to eat. If you can get them eating these food items, I would slowly start to add dog food into it and keep increasing the amount of dog food every few days and decrease the amount of stuff you are making for the dog. See if you can't get them to start eating again.
It does sound like something is not right. Although some Yorkies are just really picky eaters and you have to find a new food that they do like.
Good luck and I hope you get them eating again soon!
