There was just an article in a magazine that I was reading about that very subject.
It said that according to the AKC annual dog expenses average out to be @ $2500.00
$630.00 is the average amount new owners lay out in the first year for vet visits.
Really it varies from state to state and vet to vet so the best thing to do is find a good vet and get his/her rates.
