The teeth can present so many problems if they are not clean. This bacteria usually travels to the heart..ask any Vet. It can be very dangerous. I guess in this case the bacteria went to the tonsils, a filtering organ. I'll bet the dogs lymph nodes were huge. But good to hear that she is on the mend. We worry about these little ones so much.
