I've never used a flea shampoo that I found effective. In recent years I use lavender baby shampoo and found it effective but have to bathe basically daily. For the past few months I have been using diatomaceous earth to treat our yard and a sprinkle on the girls food and bedding a few times a week ....we haven't seen fleas.
