That is what I do as well. I let the bones (I use organic grass fed from Wholefoods ) sit in the ACV in cold water for an hour before cooking to help the minerals leach out of the bones. Wellness mama has a good blog post on it. She roasts her bones. I do roast when I'm using for soup or whatever for myself but I skip this step if I'm doing for the pups.
Just remember to keep is simple. NO onions or garlic or salt. Pure and simple.
