My boss used to say to never withhold water. If she is pottying frequently and this is abnormal for her then it typically means there's a reason. Depending on her age it could be bladder weakness, uti, stones etc. I would call your vet and ask if you can bring in a urine sample. To get a clean catch follow her with a foam plate....when she squats slide it under her to catch it and put it into a clean container. Please don't withhold water. If she has a uti water is helping flush.....take her out as frequently as she needs.....or put a potty pad down for her.
