I am experiencing the exact same thing but towards my cats. My cats need attention too, and they were here first, so I feel very badly about this. Tessa will pass them in the hallway or stand side-by-side in the kitchen with them no problem; however, if they approach me to sit on my lap or for pats or for attention she gets very upset and goes after them.
