She uses plastic guards for the short blade...Like ppl hair. Easier to change guards. 5-6 depending..But it looks choppy then she just free hands the rest. But remember shes been cutting hair for along time. PPL since she was 18....Couple decades worth now.
... Never cut dog hair until 10yrs ago..Just has the knack.
