We were worried that Bella might not make it to a year with all of her troubles (thankfully she seems to be doing much better) so we gave her a "half" birthday when she was 6 mo. We bought some mini cupcakes and scraped the frosting mostly off and put one on a little happy birthday plate. Needless to say, she loved it!
