My puppies are being fixed on Sept 10th. I have a male and a female. They will turn 6 months old on Sept 9th.

I am hoping to avoid the cone by putting onesies on them (backwards with their tails out the snaps) and I am hoping it will keep them from chewing at their stitches. I have been having them wear the onesies for a little bit each day to get them used to them.

I am also a stay at home mom so I will be home with them all day. I have kept my schedule completely clear for at least a week after the surgery. The only time I will have to leave them is to run the kids to and from school which does not take long. I can crate them while I am gone if I feel the need, or take one (or both) with me so that they will not be running around fighting while I am gone for 20 minutes or less. Everything else has been kept clear so I will be home with them.
