Thanks for the tip on the tightness.
I think I see what my problem was. I put my seat in the center of my back seat ( middle of three) and I could not use the belt around the seat as my 3 seats are continuous. Looks like you need a bucket like seat that you can get around the back? Or a front seat? So my dog seat was just hanging from the headrest with no lateral constraint. So happy it works so well for your baby
Ohhh ok, I know what you mean, Cody sits in the front with me, a few weeks ago I had to put the Booster seat in the back due to a passenger that gets car sick if they sit in the back. The back of my car seats 3 ppl, the back of that seat folds forward if you use the trunk for long items and need extra length, one seat in the back is a single seat, the other part is a double seat, me not remembering this put the booster seat on the double seat, I had to extend the strap as far as I could, I barely was able to connect it. NO you cannot use just the strap that goes over just the head rest, it will sway back and fourth, your poor puppy to ride like that, I would have freak out over something like that. When I got it I had one of the Pet Supplies guys show me how it was placed, I wanted to make sure it was right for my car, it's a 45 minute ride to their store, I didn't want to have to go back and return it if it didn't fit my car. Yes it is perfect for my boy, in fact I brag so much about this booster seat 3 family members and 2 friends got it for their babies, not because they got sick, because it raised their pups to be able to see out of the window and as a safety issue. Well glad you got something that works for your baby.
