They are reasonably priced and if one can test it out in your car it could work very well. It does raise the dog up so he/ she can look out, which is the important thing. I don't know how it would work as a center console seat though? |
The strap that goes AROUND the seat must be very tight. I have been using it for 14 months, it has not moved. Cody is 12 lbs, med. size was recommended, I looked at the med. and the large, the large looked big enough for him to lay down in and he does. I bought 2, one for the car, one for my truck, this way I wouldn't have to be adjusting the straps. As I stated, the belt that goes around the seat MUST be TIGHT,tight that you see a slight indentation on the side of the car seat when you clip it to the short strap, the long strap must be even with the basket when you put it around the car seat, strap cannot be lower or higher then the basket the dog sits in. I could be a sales person for this booster seat, Cody would always get car sick, vomit, pant so much his entire muzzle would be soaking wet, in this seat that is elevated off the passenger seat is a miracle worker for him. If you still have the seat tighten up the strap that goes around the seat, tighten it enough that you see a slight indentation in your passenger seat.
