What part of Austin are you going to be in....I will see if I can get a vet referral for you....you really do NOT want to use the vet services in PetSmart/PetCo..... We will see if we can get you hooked up with an emergency vet as well as a vet for annual/emergency care....

Welcome to Texas....I am native born, so I am a bit partial to the Great State of Texas....you are in an absolutely gorgeous part of the State.....OK....I admit, I am jealous!!! Your baby girl seems so very well behaved and seems to adjust well to her life events....speaks well to her breeding and upbringing!

We do have "challenges" in our great outdoors....coyotes, hawks, owls, poisonous snakes, especially in your neck of the woods (rattlesnakes!)....be certain you do not ever let her go outside, even in a fenced in yard, in the middle of a neighborhood, unaccompanied by a human caretaker.....there are the regular precautions about thieves that steal valuable pups....just do not leave her unattended or allow people to hold her when you are out in public......that is a danger in any and all areas of the country, as people see Yorkies as "a quick buck to be made, if you can get your hands on one".....
