Hi Yorkiemom1,
Actually no, he potty's all over. The thing is he was almost trained, i thought, but when I tried to give him treats only intermittently, whenever he didn't get a treat, the next time he pottied on the floor. He expects a treat every time, and if I'm not there with him when he has to go potty, he potties on the floor. Yet he knows the right place to make potty, and is always looking to make sure I am watching him go so I can give him a treat. He was doing quite well for a while, and then we had a gigantic flood and we were out of the house for 3 months, and had to keep moving from motel to motel because our insurance company wouldn't reserve enough time for us to stay in the motel we were at. So I know he got somewhat confused, but we have been home for almost 3 months, and he is still only going potty when i am present with him and watching him. If I'm not there he potties on the floor. But for some reason pooh, he does on the potty whether i'm there or not.I don't want to have to confine him to a tiny space again because I am busy a lot and cannot be with him very often with undivided attention, as I have a dad with alzheimers 92 yo and a very disabled pup that needs meds like 4x a day. But what am i to do?
