I could not / cannot be anywhere where puppies are sold, yes "unplanned" I would go shopping for a blouse and come back with a puppy and no blouse. It tears out my heart to see babies begging to be taken home, back then I knew nothing of puppy mills, I had to buy the baby yorkie to give it freedom of that cage, love and an awesome life. The only planned puppy was my Matese, she was gotten as a companion for my last pup who was then 6 y/o. I had lost my two older girls, my Schnae was grieving over their loss, she was always the baby, I gave her 6 months to adjust, she didn't. My cousin was keeping an eye out for yorkies, she called me when she found one, Matese was a huge puppy at 8 weeks old, with the biggest German Shepard ears ever, I knew no one would buy such a big yorkie, besides it was love at first sight. That was 1997, after Matese I stayed away from any place that had puppies. Yes "unplanned" lol
