Poor little guy. I agree with all the remarks made here. I did get my baby from a breeder at 10 1/2 weeks, which is still very young. I put him in a crate beside my bed. He whined and cried loudly. Most people wouldn't do this but I put his crate on my bed and put my fingers in the door. We slept very well. Also, this made it easier to know when to go potty.
Needless to say, he's sleeping out of his crate and snuggled right beside me. I wouldn't take anything for these moments.
