Love Needs Mommy

With all of the puppies I have raised (4) at nightime, I put them in a cardboard box with, a pillow and a nice soft blanket and fuzzy toy, but I think most important I put the box right beside my bed and would often sleep with my arm in the box, I would be woken up often by the puppy, but they are babies, and need alot of attention and comfort, even if it means you don't get alot of sleep. The crate may be very dark and closed off and the puppy may feel very lonely. If you can, in the daytime, can you gate up your kitchen and leave the same pillow, blanket and fuzzy toy there, they need to move around, not to be crated all day. If you are not home in the daytime, just make sure there is nothing they can get into, in the kitchen, and leave out some pee pads. It's a big new world for these little puppies.
