Many, many dogs absolutely *hate* being caged and confined to a crate....including all 4 of mine, all of which despise the crate. It's not natural for an animal to just feel great/natural/comfy being in a small confined space. So my guess is 1) that she hates it and therefore cries for a change and 2) she is too young to be separated from her litter anyway.
I would try an Iris Pen (Amazon or Walmart) instead bc it at least allows her to get and move...it'll allow a bed, pee pad, toys, and water.
