For treats, all mine get nothing but human food treats.....pieces of veggies, Fruit Loops, Gerber Chicken Stix for human babies (like those Vienna sausage but much healthier, in the event someone is not feeling ship shape and has to be coaxed to eat!), various fruits that are safe, human cookies like animal crackers, graham cracker pieces (Teddy Grahams), Goldfish Crackers, Oyster crackers,......I do not trust ANY snacks especially made strictly for dogs......I dehydrate my own chicken breast slices or little pieces of stew meat that I get at HEB.....also liver and gizzards.....there are soooooo many healthy options to give these babies for treats, snacks, rewards, etc., that are healthy and good for them, stuff WE could eat......I don't find it necessary to give anything store bought, made for dog treats.....you just never know for sure where it came from, how it was processed, etc.....

Do you mean a raw bone? Or a rawhide? If it's a rawhide I would not give those. They are far from raw and they aren't even the hide. They are the part of the cow that cannot be used for meat or leather. The sinew or something. And they are bleached to look clean and white. Lots of chemicals used to make those. Just confused bc your second paragraph says how you never give anything specifically made just for dogs.
