I love nexguard. Both my yorkie and my moms take it. No matter what you use whether its a topical, a collar or a pill it goes into the blood stream. I have not had any issues with it and my vets office has said they have not had any either. Topicals just didn't work for us they made my yorkie sick and then they would be greasy until they got a bath.
