I wanted one named Scotti and the other Pippen after Scotti Pippen (NBA Chicago Bulls). My son, also an NBA person refused to call them by those names. So for weeks we text each other constantly with names that just didn't work. About three weeks after we had them I showed my husband how our little biewer kept stealing our yorkie's toys. I said "he is a real little bandit". Just at that moment my phone binged. I received a text from my son that said "how about Smokey and the Bandit?" And so it goes...they were named. Oh and BTW, my son said if we get a third puppy his name must be Junior!!!! |
That's so cute! What a coincidence! My MIL was having a hard time thinking of a name for her yorkie who she got as a rehome. Her original name was Gadget but she didn't answer to it (nor did the original owners call her that; they just would whistle at her). Also no way with MIL's accent would she be able to say it or have it sound pleasing to other people's ears. LOL After a few days I thought of Ginger (she loves cooking with ginger), and she said that BIL had suggested Ginger too!
