Sorry to ask so many questions but getting all this done while I can be online. Tomorrow and maybe Monday will likely have to take it easy and prob. can't do anymore laptop "heavy" lifting for a while. Neck is not too happy with me right now. Nerve root or two are so inflamed and irritated right now. Obviously too much lounging time these last few weeks and this for a neck that never did much lounging around in all its days until lately.
My pleasure, Jeanie. The Chromebooks have very small hard drives, so I have downloaded things, but I only keep things for a short while. I save things in GoogleDocs by just putting the links into pages in the docs. There are lots of great apps to use, and I save things via the cloud. It's no different on the iPad. I use things and they are saved to the cloud. You can share your documents and both people can work on them simultaneously. It allows a flash drive, which my iPad doesn't do. You can do some work offline. The seven seconds to open up is incredible. I pay $1.99 for my iPad for greater iCloud storage.

I love that I can open my Chromebook, and I can begin typing in 7 minutes. It lets me work both online or offline. With all of the competition with Bluetooth and wireless in my school, the machine is ready to work when you are They're lightweight and they are new. Who knows what else they will be able to do in the future?
