Max was 13 weeks when our first vet gave him everything: bordetella up the nose, Rabies, DHPP, and who knows what else in one visit. The vet wanted to schedule a Lyme vacc for a week or two later. We didn't go back.
Thankfully Max was a sturdy pup and had no problems. Now that I know more, I would never allow this.
It isn't unusual for vets to think this way.
