 sick puppy again
So my little Piper is 16 weeks old. I have had for a month now. Last week she started vomiting and having bloody diarrhea. I took her to the vet immediately and they did xrays, blood work and tested for parvo and a few other things. They did not find anything so they put her on prescription wet dog food for 5 days and some meds. Today we put her back on her dry dog food (blue buffalo) within 5 hrs she was back to bloody diarrhea. Back to the vet we went and we are doing another 5 days of prescription wet food and meds then we will slowly transition her back to her dry food. Has anyone else delt with a similar situation? Vet said she may just have a sensitive stomach and need to stay on the prescription dog food permanently. I hate seeing my furbabies not feeling well. I feel so helpless. |
