I would say yes it would cause a problem. P.E. causes the chest to be sunken in, correct? How are your females organs located with this defect? I ask this because during pregnancy some organs get pushed up/in different areas where they normally wouldn't be.

With the added issue of P.E. the pregnancy will cause more than what may be the normal amount of stress on your female's body and have extremely negative/fatal results.

Have you spoken with your vet about the type of complications that may happen? Your vet should be able to easily answer these questions with his/her expertise.
