Anti-seizure meds are generally notorious for some pretty hefty side effects -- BUT -- those often subside w/ time and patience. Try to stick with this dose for a bit if you can, but if it appears dangerous (running into walls etc), then see if it's viable to decrease it yet again, knowing you'll have to probably ramp up again later as tolerance to the med gets better. Hang in there, and try not to worry too much about this concerning side effect...I know, easier said than done.
