I am so sorry! You are about the same age as my daughter and I got her a puppy this spring and believe me, the puppy has peed on her bed and everything is washable.

Teek (my 9 year old) peed the bed a few days ago. He was not feeling well and he wet the bed. I washed everything. Not a big deal. They are dogs, they are not perfect.

Rowan has wet and pooped on my bed (he was still quite young) and again, I cleaned it up. He will jump off the bed even in the middle of the night and go use the pee pad if he has to go now.

Your dog probably was licking and made everything soaked. I am sorry that your mom doesn't have the patience with dogs. Maybe she is just not an animal person. We have 4 dogs, 1 cat, 4 snakes and fish tanks here. We love animals and I know they are not perfect and will have accidents.

I hope you end up with him after you move out. Poor Teddy. It must be confusing to be passed around like that.

Keep us posted on how he is doing.
