Hard to say what it is. I doubt it is his trachea if it stopped so suddenly...may have been a reverse sneeze. But, honestly, I don't know.
You should try to video it if he does it again so you can show the vet. If he is not as active, maybe he has an upper respiratory infection...I would definitely get him checked out.
