I recently read about a coyote easily jumping a six foot fence in well-populated Westminster, CO. Very scary stuff and I totally agree about being ever-vigilant with our little ones. My neighbor made a point of telling me he'd seen a large owl in our neighborhood (which is pretty much downtown Sparks, NV). Although he has two large Akitas, I love that he is watching out for possible dangers to my Piper--who still is not left alone outside in fenced yard. You just never know what may come over the fence or swoop down from above... |
