I have known animal hoarders. well actually one and I feel so bad for her. I was going to step in and get her help but her daughter did and she now has 2 dogs and 1 cat and sees a therapist . She said just recently it just happened before she knew what was happening. She said she truly thought she was saving the animals and now she knows she was doing herself and the animals more harm than good. She helps out at our local shelter now and she seems so much happier!!!! So it IS a very serious illness and more people need to acknowledge it. IMO |
