She can give some pure canned pumpkin, NoT pumpkin pie filling but Pure pumpkin or green beans for constipation if this is the issue, IF constipation is not the issue & it is the anal glands then she needs to try a whole diff diet as anal gland issues are caused by allergies so it may be environmental but it may be food allergy. Does the vet express the anals ? & are they full when expressed ? Also the hemorrhoid med is ok to use but there is no need to insert it into the rectum as the anal glands are actual pockets of skin on the outside of the anus. Cortaid can also be used & just put a dab of either on the finger & rub it in. |
