If you feel Charlie will not be aggressive towards a new furbutt I say go for it. At one time I had a pack of 3, all 3 years apart, all females, they were loving little girls, all socialized with animals and ppl, I never had a fear one of my girls would not accept a new sister. Puppies are so much fun, and if Charlie is not dog aggressive, with-in several weeks he will be playing with his new little brother or sister. Good luck.
