I'm very sorry for your little girl's scary diagnosis, but as other's have said, it may correct itself. I realize it's a bit far, but my dear friend's King Cavalier Charles Spaniel was treated by Dr. Wey in Latham for a very serious heart condition. Abby was in congestive heart failure, and she lived almost two years rather than the couple months she was given. That breed is plagued with heart issues. if waiting would be really difficult for you, it might be worth a drive for peace of mind. I will pray for both of you.
