I'm sorry that I can't speak to spaying; however, my tiny boy, Zeus, was neutered at 6 months and 3 days weighing 3.7 lbs. I didn't want him to hike or hump was the reason for the rush. When I went to pick him up, they said I was lucky that the male doctor did not do his neuter (the female did). His were so small she had a hard time getting to them; therefore, the smaller hands helped. She said he was the smallest she had ever done. He came through unscathed, although we were terrified of the being put to sleep. He never once tried to chew or lick his sutures (lucky us), so no cone! By the way, he is 10 months now and is 3.8 lbs. The vet doesn't think he will get any bigger. He is our tiny baby! We were lucky with the teeth. He had lost all baby teeth but one by 6 months. We had no trouble with the pulled tooth at all. I hope everything goes well for you and your sweet girl. |
