My baby, Little Miss Elliot, is getting spayed tomorrow. She will be 8 months old this week. I put it off a couple of months because she is so small (at least to me). She is currently 4 lbs. She looks like a midget compared to her brother, Duncan, who is 2 months older and weighs 12 lbs.
I am very nervous about the surgery because of how little she is but I was afraid to let it go any longer because I didn't want her to go into heat. I have been keeping my fingers crossed for the past few weeks. Hopefully, she won't tonight. I know many of you have dogs that are smaller and have had them spayed. Do puppies that are smaller have any additional pain or healing times?
Elliot also is having some baby teeth taken out. She has a couple teeth in the front that are "doubles" and some other baby teeth in the back that haven't come out yet. I figured I would get both done at the same time as has been suggested here many times. Do they have any pain from getting these baby teeth pulled out? How long does it take for the adult teeth in the back of the baby teeth to move into place?
Does anyone have any secrets to keeping these acrobatic yorkies from jumping off and on and over things and running all over the place beyond crating them? Elliot only has one speed and that is fast and quick. She is constantly jumping and running around. I have no clue how I am going to keep her calm and quiet, for one day, let alone 10 days.

Duncan is a very laid back puppy and I didn't have much problem keeping him from running around when he was neutered.
I bought a couple of onesies for her to wear so she doesn't lick her incision. Any other suggestions that I should know about before tomorrow?
Any positive thoughts sent her way would be appreciated. Thanks.
