Do not change the puppies food now, keep the puppy on the same food the owner had her on, sudden changes in food will up-set her stomach, Keep in mind, this is a infant baby 49 days old, she is being taken from the human momma, her momma and litter mates, going to you a stranger, to a new home with new smells and no siblings, no momma, she will be under a lot of stress until she gets use to you and her new world, to change her food now is not advisable. You can do that later when she has settled in. Please take this baby to the vet ASAP 24 to 48hours after you got her, she will need vaccines, the vet will let you know when they are to be gotten, and she needs a full check up. This is for the HEALTH of this new little life. I commend you for getting a baby sitter and adjusting your work schedule, I can see your dedication to this puppy.
