I saw those cute costumes for little dogs at WalMart, too! I wanted to get the pumpkin hat for Higgins to wear with his new orange hunting sweater that I knit him. Don wouldn't let me!!!! Doesn't want "his" dog in a "wussy" outfit! He's okay with Higgin's sweater since it's getting cold here and he really needs it. Plus it's a safety orange color. I'll post a picture as soon as we get one......
I knit it on four needles, no seams. Took about a day. I'm going to knit another one and write down what I did. I knit a tweed one first, but it was a tad too small for Higgins. Anyone want a tweedy turtleneck sweater that should fit a 3-5 pounder? Y'know....we should start a clothes swap here...... |
